So we have this mission...

There's this thing about people who live with mental illness: they're incredibly beautiful. Here at Horribly Human we believe that surviving a war with your mind starts and ends by supporting each other and that's exactly what we're here to do! From sharing strategies that work to learning how to find a little laughter during the darkest days, our mission is to give a little love to ourselves and the world around us. It's a movement y'all, let's make the most of it!

Being better shouldn't break the bank!

If it's not something we've used successfully, we don't recommend it!

Everyone deserves to laugh a little or a lot every day!

A.N. Gibson is a respected author because she uses initials in her pen name and everyone knows that only serious writers do that. Professional copywriter, content creator, wife, mother, wayward wanderer, she’s lived with mental illness for the last 17 years and has no plans for stopping. Throughout her journey she's met some seriously stellar people, shared amazing experiences, and decided that there's really not a whole lot of point in getting better if she's not sharing the ways to wellness with everyone else.

A strong believer in the power of partnership, she decided to put her talents to good use and began Horribly Human in 2018. She’s working on what she calls, “A book book. You know, not an eBook but an in-depth, read with a flashlight under the covers, mental health management book that’s filled with the F word and gives people like me some seriously sweet strategies to live and laugh by.” She's also aspiring to produce a new podcast, write a bangin' blog, and constantly craft all kinds of resources for this colorful community. When asked why she's doing all of this she says, "The fact is, the better you get, the better I get, and I think that's really what the way to wellness is all about."
